This book discusses all types of relationships and provides real life examples of each. According to author Dr.Loving someone doesn’t have to mean accepting unacceptable behavior. Love is unconditional, behavior is not. “This book’s insights and tools will help readers move closer to having a healthy relationship. It includes composites of 30 years of client stories, plus a few of the author’s own, as well as tools and insights that help the reader move closer to having a healthy relationship.

• Authored book, Wife Beater Shirt Optional: There is no dress code for domestic violence. Wife Beater Shirt Optional helps to dispel the many stereotypes and misconceptions surrounding domestic violence and resulting trauma. The book is a no-nonsense discussion about the types of abuse, the cycle of violence, the issue of power and control, the types of trauma, and the symptoms of trauma. It also shares ways to assess lethality and safety plans with victims who want to stay in or leave abusive and/or controlling relationships.

• I provided academic instruction in the College of Professional Studies, Criminal Justice, and Criminal Forensic Science Departments, in both traditional and distance learning classrooms. I taught courses in both domestic violence and the criminal mind.
