I started out a a LPN UA. I did admits and discharges, did ordering for nursery, helped physicians with circumcisions, followed dr orders. Helped nurses with blood sugars, vitals, assessments. pku's, assisted hearing screen associates, cleaned cribs, made folders, stocked, helped with baths, did couplet care as needed.

After getting RN, did transition. I attended deliveries( vaginal and c-section). did assessments, vs, blood sugars, weighs, vaccinations, monitored newborn for several hours after birth and longer if needed, Gave report to couplet nurses and physicians as needed. Educated parents on newborn care , assisted with breastfeeding.

May 18, 2023 became an L&D nurse. Responsible for inductions, monitoring babies, assessments, communication with physicians as needed, followed dr orders, attended csection with patient and circulated case. I have advanced fetal monitoring. I take care of antepartum and postpartum moms and babies. Perform vss, assesments, documentation on pt and strip, manage magnesium patients, laboring patients , recover postpartum moms, watch and assess for hemorrhage, fundal checks and sve.

LPN for Gyn/OB clinic. Brought patients to the back and checked them in, vs, history, needs. Assisted physicians with ordering, urine samples, pregnancy test, pap smears, punch biopsies, colpo, additional testing as needed. Set up u/s machine for pt , called in prescriptions, answered calls and returned calls, educated patients on disease processes, pregnancy, procedures. Cleaned rooms, scheduled surgeries, approved birth control and administered birth control and vaccines as ordered. Followed phyician orders. 

LPN Nursery. Attended deliveries. Admit and discharge babies. Made appointments for pediatrician and hearing screens.  Administered vaccines as ordered. Gave baths and took weights. VSS. Did blood sugars, assisted with circumcisions and transfers to NICU at neighboring hospitals. Helped triage expecting mothers, IV, foley, UA, Drug Screen. Follow dr orders, help watch fetal monitors.  Made tables for delivery. Stock, Make folders. Assisted physicians with rounds.
