Responsible for creating lessons in the areas of English Language Arts/Reading and US History that were modified to resource student's needs and abilities. Also used data from student progress to determine student needs and increase student achievement.

Manage all special education paperwork (virtually) to be in compliance with TEA and federal guidelines while using esped/Frontline support program.

Department Head responsible for 12 special education teachers and paraprofessionals. This included training in curriculum as well as use of Frontline and current special education laws and processes.

Conduct ARD meetings as a facilitator as well as administrator. Doing so in compliance with federal and state guidelines.

Conducted ARD meetings in compliance with TEA, district, and campus expectations as well monitor other teachers' ARD/IEP paperwork.

Worked with Texas Work Force Solutions to assist junior and senior grade level students with career, educational, and resource assistance.

Cultivated connections and strong student rapport to foster classroom engagement in co-teach and resource classrooms.

Created an "Adulting 101" course for graduating seniors.

• Delivered effective and differentiated classroom instruction to range of neurodiverse students. This includes co-teaching as well in the resource setting.
• Modified general education curriculum for special-needs students using various instructional techniques and technologies.
• Co-taught ELAR (English Language Arts Reading), Texas History, and Science at the elementary level.
• Vertical team and team leader for 5 years. Responsibilities include reporting concerns, requests, responsibilities, and curriculum decisions.
