Eagle Scout from BSA Troop 741. I learned many leadership skills as a Scout. I was the Senior Patrol Leader, which is the Scout that runs the troop for a term of 6 months. I would supervise the troop activities and plan the meetings with my Patrol Leaders (scouts who are leaders of their patrols). I have been involved in the community extensively while participating in in Scouts BSA. I have planted trees, participated in park clean ups, served pancakes at the Lioness pancake breakfasts, and even weeded the gardens at the police station. For my Eagle Scout Project, I installed artificial turf in the batting cage at Independence Park. This project allowed me to learn about doing a project at a city level and the steps that occur along the way.
