I started programming and using CAD design software in high school when I participated in the FIRST Robotics. Because of my interest in electronics and computation, I am pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering at George Washington University.
My research interests are in bioinformatics and medicine. I currently work as an unpaid research assistant at Horvath labs, where I use R, python, the Seurat, and Bioconductor libraries to perform Single Cell RNA Sequencing.
I worked full time as a camp Counselor at Steve and Kates. I headed the camp’s programming program and organized science-themed events by inviting local startups and technology community leaders to give children oriented technology demonstrations.
I worked as a clerk at WKBLAW under several of the attorneys and partners. I organized their digital file system, prepare executive documents, corrected legal exams, and monitored the attorney’s billable hours.

I am a junior member of AMPC, an pre-medical society designed to support pre-health majors. I take advantage of free MCAT resources and their mentorship program. I also attend semi-weekly talks by doctors and engineers.
I volunteer as an undergraduate research assistant at Horvath Labs. There, I work with R and python to perform single cell RNA sequencing to analyze cancer samples. I am currently working to gain experience in handling large data because I want to study the life cycle and development of cancer cells.
