I was a 6-12 ED/BD Teacher in an alternative school. I worked closely with mental health workers in our building to help kids work through mental health needs, so they can be healthier.

• Developed and implemented Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with various disabilities.
• Utilized differentiated instruction strategies to support students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team including parents, therapists, and other educators to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students.

I was special education co-ordinator and was over the special services of 3 smaller districts.

The assistant principal is in charge of the off-site alternative school. The alternative schools served secondary students as well as adults trying to earn their high school diploma
