  • Supported staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments. Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Ensure that all pre-work for New Hire Orientation is completed before start of orientation; this includes sending out calendar invitations, email reminders to new hires' managers and presenters reminding them of upcoming orientation week, and preparing their materials for new hires
  • Orientation process consists of setting up Brainshark accounts for all new hires to complete their required training during their onboarding processes orientation. I create name Tents for all new Hires, including their name and Department. Lastly, when setting up orientation room make sure that each hire has their name tent, their packet with new hire resources, and add company swag bag, all placed neatly with various snacks
  • Percipio User uploads: this process is done every 2 weeks on Monday. This ensures that all employees at NHPRI’s accounts are updated and that new hires’ accounts are created. Another project was creating new orientation dates by cross-referencing them with holiday dates that the office is closed and ensuring that it follows its Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday rule for holidays. Managing Learning and Development inbox; this includes completing all Brainshark changes, changing and sending out Brainshark and Percipio login resets, processing any TICC request; including creating their Brainshark account and sending out emails to them with their login information and required course needed to be complete on their onboarding process. Lastly, record and track New hires and TICCs who have completed their required training.

    Fitness & Wellness Program Development With Integra Community Care Network | Kingston, RI 2022

    Social Impact in Health & Health Care:

  • Collaborate with a team of 5 to create a menu of fitness & wellness programs to be implemented at Integra. We created an Excel Google slide to present these fitness and wellness programs to the class and other companies,including Integra
  • Researched programs such as Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP ) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) are income eligibility programs, Silver Sneakers, and Providence Power Yoga. Created incentives like a punch card for Providence Yoga and Silver Sneakers to encourage Integra members to participate
  • Conducting A Needs Assessment And Intervention Programs | Kingston, RI 2022 Advance Interdisciplinary Health:

  • Collaborated with a team of 4 to conduct a needs assessment test associated with Binge Drinking in Older Adults 55+ in Rhode Island. Using SPSS, we collected data from different variables such as binge drinking and gender, binge drinking and heart attack rates, binge drinking and wellness visits, binge drinking and falling,and binge drinking and mental health status. We found that Older Adults 55+ who participate in binge drinking are more likely to have poor health status with a p-value of 0.001
  • Created intervention programs that will help reduce binge drinking in older adults 55+ in Rhode Island. Designed programs such as Book Club Activity (“Alcohol is Sh!t By: Paul Churchill”), Game Nights Activity., Art Club activity, Walking Club activity, and Education Information sessions
  • Off-campus Study Undergraduate Winter Indonesia: Global health | Indonesia 2023

    Experience Learn Independent study:

  • A trip that consists of students and faculties from different backgrounds in health care, such as the departments of Health Studies, Nursing, and Pharmacy and Communicative Disorders. The primary purpose of this trip was to assess the social determinants of health surrounding this country. We explored Urban public health (Flood zone), Traditional medicine research, and public health at Tawangmangu National Research Center in central Java. We tour their clinics where their medication comprises dry plants
  • I participated in Oral health outreach, a great way to bridge the gap in their social determinants of health,especially in the oral aspect, since they don't have much dental health care Exploring Rural health care delivery, which can be a problem since it takes about an hour and 30 minutes, close to 2 hours to get to the nearest hospital. This aspect can serve as a social determinant of health because, based on their geographical location, it's challenging for them to get the proper health care they need promptly.
