1- Collection Development & Acquisition Management
• Develop and implement workflows for collection development, acquisition, cataloging, and metadata management.
• Coordinate selection, deselection, and evaluation of print and electronic resources.
• Manage acquisition workflows including vendor negotiations, supplier selection, order placement, invoice processing, and budget oversight.

2- Metadata & Cataloging Management
• Maintain bibliographic control and ensure compliance with MARC21, RDA, and metadata standards.
• Conduct data quality assessments and metadata standardization.

3- Electronic Resources & Discovery Optimization
• Monitor e-resource access, authentication, subscription lifecycles, and licensing compliance.
• Implement and maintain discovery mechanisms and search optimization strategies.

4- Data Analysis & AI-Driven Collection Assessment
• Lead data-driven collection analysis projects using Python.
• Conduct research study on the effectiveness of AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, for data cleaning.

5- Library Systems & Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Management
• Manage interlibrary loan requests and coordinate with external institutions.
• Develop tools and frameworks to assess user needs and service improvements.

6- Research Support & Information Literacy Instruction
• Assist students and faculty with research guidance and deliver training sessions.

7- Policy Development & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with information security and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in creating, maintaining, and updating library policies and procedures.

8- Leadership and Team Coordination

• Provide leadership and professional development for library assistants in cataloging, metadata management, and operations.

• Conducting basic library routines (cataloging, circulation, classification, borrowing reference services, collection development, and library administration)
• Information literacy instructor (From grade 7 to grade 12 and IB)
