Assess staff performance and address failure to meet job expectations if needed. Intercede with families when difficult conversations are required. Attend various coalition, consortium and court-based meetings related to child welfare.
Assigned ongoing child welfare cases for children in the temporary custody of the state of Arizona. Attended court proceedings and Foster Care Review Board hearings, submitted detailed court reports and supporting documentation, and provided testimony. Facilitated case plan staffings with birth parents, family members, attorneys, psychologists, mental health specialists and teachers. Developed case plans with goals of reunification or permanency. Maintained case records. Arranged for services for birth parents and children and monitored progress. Conducted home visits, inspected surroundings and interviewed family members.
