Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Operator of three OMAX system programmed water jets, calibrated to cut from 1/32 to 2" of various types of material.
• Operator of a MARVEL horizontal band saw, cutting a variety of material types such as flat bar, angles, channels, pipes and rods.
• Operator of a two ton overhead crane which was required to load material onto both the water jet and bandsaw.
• Forklift certified and can operate both electric/gas and sitting/standing forklifts.
• Processed work orders based on date and priority with attached prints to review.
• Enhanced productivity with efficient material loading and unloading of the water jet machine. While water jet was running, orders for bandsaw were then worked on to complete.
• Maintenance was performed and logged regularly and tub drain and clean-up was every three months.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Performed assembly of products according to blueprint specifications and management's instructions on uplifting automobiles for Military Police, Chicago Police, Department of Defense, Comcast, BNSF.
• Assembled and aligned parts and fixtures using hand and power tools. Parts included COM systems, lights, racks, partisans, circuit breakers and flooring/roofing.
• Kept work areas organized, tidy, and clean for maximum productivity and safety regulations.
• Pay was based on piece rate commission and many various tasks were learnt to promote work efficiency and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

• Maintained a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
• Kept storage areas organized, clean, and secure to fully protect material from the elements.
• Operated forklifts, pallet jacks and a 5-ton overhead crane to transfer sheet metal and pipes from one area of warehouse to another and/or during load and unload.
• Moved inventory of customer vehicles around the lot to prepare for assemblers to pull in. Used hand-held scanners and physical logs to accurately track vehicles moved and parked.
• Promoted to Assembly Technician in February 2018.
