Collaboratively developed the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) program with the science department. Students questioned, created a hypothesis and developed possible solutions to the bird migration focusing on the difficulty of nesting after the Northern California fires. Creating bird nesting boxes, screech owl nesting boxes and bee habitats.

• Prepared instructional materials for group and one-on-one use to comply with established curriculum.
• Provided assistance to faculty and staff by teaching classes, conducting orientation programs and issuing transcripts.

Developed professional development programs for teachers to strengthen their self efficacy in soft skills acquisition through inquiry-based learning. Collaborated with teachers to implement project-based learning within their existing curriculum. Developed the DEI initiative to help guide the school in diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring diverse staff members, and students as well as to implement representation of all cultures and ethnicities in the classroom.

An Oxford style approach to teaching discussing current event issues. Collaborated with a middle school in Kenya to create a dialogue between students to deepen cross cultural empathy and understanding. Mentored students to lead discussions. Mentored fundraising activities for students to collect and turn into action by supporting libraries in rural areas of Africa.
