Marlon Chance

As a student in the computer science department, I have studied multiple coding languages including C++, Java, and Python. I have also studied problem solving approaches, as well as data structures and algorithms common in those problem solving approaches. Along with my computer science coursework, I have studied many forms of mathematics, including calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and numerical analysis.

As a hairstylist, I have had to learn to respond to a very fluid environment. Every client has different expectations, and the pace of this work is very fast. This job also includes a need for versatile communication skills and the ability to get needed information from people who may not know exactly how to detail that information. Simultaneously, I need to be a bit of a salesman of sorts. I am grateful for this work and the impact it has had on my ability to interact with many diverse types of people.
