I have been employed by NCKSEC since October of 2016 as a paraprofessional for 3rd and 4th grade Special Education Resource Room. Then moved and transferred to 5th and 6th grade Special Education Resource Room. Here are some of the things I do on a daily basis.

• Assist teachers with classroom management and document coordination to maintain positive learning environment.
• Provided support to help students with special needs learn and grow.
• Monitored student classroom and outdoors activities to promote student safety.
• Supported student learning objectives through personalized and small group assistance.
• Provided support during classes, group lessons and classroom activities.
• Maintained inclusive learning environment to enable students to gain maximum benefit from lessons.
• Assisted teachers with classroom management and document coordination to maintain positive learning environment.
• Documented student behaviors, interventions and outcomes to enable lead teacher to address pertinent issues.
• Set up visual aids, equipment and classroom displays to support teacher's lesson delivery.
• Delivered curriculum in both one-on-one lessons and group learning environments.
• Delivered personalized educational, behavioral and emotional support to individual students to enable positive learning outcomes.
• Kept classrooms clean, neat and properly sanitized for student health and classroom efficiency.
• Assessed student social, emotional and academic needs to plan goals appropriately.
• Prepared instructional materials for group and one-on-one use to comply with established curriculum.
• Created lesson materials, visuals and digital presentations to supplement lesson plans.
