Diligent, with a solid background in tactical operations and strategic planning. Demonstrated capability in high-stress environments, successfully completing numerous missions with precision. Exhibited strong leadership and effective communication skills in team settings.
My employment began the summer after I graduated high school when I enlisted to join the United States Marine Corp on a 4 year contract. My service began with boot camp followed by job specific training to become a 0311 rifleman. During this time I learned valuable skills such as complex problem solving, multistage planning, how to work with and how to lead a group of my peers in small unit leadership. After basic job training was complete I made my way to 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines in Hawaii where I received further training among my peers working on skills such as effective communication, quick decision making, as well as mental and physical discipline. Following the work-up training I then made my first 6 month deployment to Okinawa Japan as a part of the effort to protect the endo pacom area of operations. The next portion of my military career involves me returning to Hawaii in order to train the next generation of USMC riflemen. During this period in my career I learned the necessities of teaching and guiding junior coworkers, fostering a healthy work environment, keeping lines of communication open, settling group disputes in a fair and concise manner, and breaking down lessons into a more concise digestible format. Following my second workup with 3rd battalion 3rd marines I would again forward deploy to Okinawa Japan where I would supervise the transfer of teaching and leadership skills to my juniors. Following my return from this deployment 3rd battalion 3rd marines would disband and I would be relocated to Camp Pendleton California to serve out the remainder of my contract by supervising the training and development of the next generation of rifleman. During my honorable exit of service I held the rank of E4 Cpl and NCO or non commissioned officer for my ability and willingness to uphold high standards and go beyond my required duties.
