• Managed Zeke midrange to Tidal migration. Converted 300 applications/38,000 Zeke jobs to Tidal and installed supporting web server/F5 load balancer infrastructure

Cyber Security/Infrastructure

• Led an emergency project with a compressed 2-month schedule to update expiring Venafi SHA2 server certificates to the new Global G2 certificate on 3000+ servers and 150 applications
• Managed Federal Trade Commission (FTC) security vulnerabilities. Ensured applications, databases, and their hosting systems captured the mandatory audit trail loggings required to reconstruct events needed for security investigations
• Upgraded IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) to the latest version 10.5.x on AIX servers across the enterprise
• Led 113 IBM MQ server manager v 9.1 upgrades. Migrated 500 applications to cloud and on-premises RHEL 9.0 and decommissioned 100 MQ manager servers
• Turned around a red project establishing an enterprise-wide IT operations management (ITOM) dashboard with auto ticketing to reduce IT spending and consolidate IT monitoring and event management. (BMC Control M, IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS), SNOW, MIR3)

• Led server account recertification contract deliverable for 71,000 Active Directory user, UNIX/Linux service/local, Windows service/local and user group access accounts. Developed ongoing yearly certification processes
• Initiated project to bring hybrid cloud services to CMS that would encourage new contract opportunities, meet $12M cost savings objective and move applications from Verizon/IBM data center to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Patched OS and firmware for 2,500 servers to remove Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities that exposed security flaws in modern processors (CPUs)

Implemented international/foreign PC video news teleconferencing capabilities while managing a $3.2M project improving performance on world’s largest private network.
• Deutsche Bank - Headed network connectivity project team to transition network support from the bank to HP support teams. Responsible for one of HP’s largest deal signings; ten-year, multibillion-dollar agreement to modernize the Bank’s global IT environment and significantly reduce infrastructure costs.
• Agilent Technologies, Inc. - Led $28M VoIP unified communication and network management solution for 120 international sites while mitigating global legal issues and 911 call concerns. Achieved additional $124M contract utilizing effective management.
• California Medical Case Management Information Payroll System (CMIPS) - Resolved $24M in contract disputes and achieved $3M savings meeting project deadlines for five overlapping projects, implementing IBM P595/P570 frames, and new networks resolving performance issues.
• Procter & Gamble - Realized “Zero” computer outages overseeing Singapore and UK data center relocations with 650 plus external business partners by providing effective oversight. Managed 30+ direct team members with multiple projects and a $30M budget while managing America data center network refresh activities.
• Del Monte Foods, Inc. - Assumed leadership to turn around WAN Optimization project that was three months behind schedule, implementing Riverbed Steelheads across client networks and HP data centers. Delivered HP’s first multi-client WAN Optimization solution, meeting deadlines despite 25% over-utilization of engineering teams."
• Avis Budget Car Rental - Directed network and server engineering teams to implement an IPsec/VPN tunnel with remote jump server/Citrix access between the ABCR data center and Hewlett Packard, while transitioning support from IBM to HP for desktop and printer support. Completed project ahead of schedule by 15%.
• Rolls Royce - Managed network connectivity project for the Indianapolis/North America data center relocation. Worldwide connectivity with “zero” computer outages achieved.
