- I have great devotion to serving my community through volunteering. My initial drive for volunteering was because I had to give back to my community and help those in need. What initially began as a better opportunity to contribute has, over time, made volunteering an avenue leading to my growth not only as a contributor but also as a person. In the process, I have been able to work in coordinating events with several organizations and assisting in fundraising programs while mentoring younger students. Each of these experiences has developed my leadership, communication, and organizational skills, furthering my empathy and sense of social responsibility. Volunteering taught me how to work around real problems, find practical solutions, and really drove home the idea that finance could be used as a tool for good in the world.
