Instruct students toward mastery of reading strategies, writing, and communication skills

• Assess students on formative and summative levels, providing data-based remediation where necessary

• Analyze standards, benchmarks, and clarifications and their progression to organize curricula
• Curate instructional resources and align them with standards-based instructions that facilitated student engagement and mastery

• Serve as liaison between 7th grade teachers and administrative staff
• Lead monthly grade-level meetings for teachers to discuss and collectively monitor student data
• Represent 7th grade at biweekly Instructional Leadership Meetings with administrative staff and other department heads/grade level chairs

• Lead PLC meetings to facilitate collaborative planning for weekly, monthly, and quarterly lesson plans
• Ensure lesson plans align with state standards and unit curricula
• Analyze data to guide instruction as PLC
• Model effective instruction for new teachers to collaboratively improve team instructional competencies
