· Responsible in knowing federal and state contracting law, grant administrating and account.
· Manages staff and ensures the activities related to the Tribal departments and programs in financial and programmatic compliance with the applicable federal, state, and/or tribal laws and regulations.
· Responsible in initiating and evaluating policy and procedures that effect those programs.
· Responsible for developing and training departments and programs to ensure fiscal and program accountability and compliance.
· Responsible for analysis of contract and grant awards including producing reports identifying program budget expenditures and balance.
· Responsible in preparing the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.
· Provides technical oversight and direction to Department Heads, Program Managers, and Administrative Assistants for programmatic accountability and compliance.
· Oversight of CS&KT fiscal accountability, verification of department reconciliation of reports, maintenance of master contract and grant files, proposal review process, Tribal contracts/MOU/MOA and medication process.
· Assists with the audit team during the fiscal year closeout and point of contact for all grant expenditures.
