Scholarship Program
During the Spring 2021 semester, I was apart of the ETEMS (Early Teaching Experiences in Mathematics and Science) program. In this program, I was able to observe various classrooms throughout the semester to learn more about the teaching profession. Along with this, I was able to expand my knowledge of education, and how to teach students. For example, we learned about the teaching standards: 5E's and the NGSS.
Scholarship Program
During the Summer of 2020, I was apart of the LSAMP Program at California State University, San Bernardino. In this program, I was able to collaborate with fellow students and professors in various ways, along with additional tutoring in future math courses. The purpose of this program was to enhance my problem solving and critical thinking skills by solving various brain exercises.
