• Schedule appointments in company-wide calendars (65) and monitor phone calls for clients in 10 offices.

• Taught all aspects of the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards. Engaged students in all components of reading and writing with extensive time spent teaching essay writing. Received highly effective evaluations every year.
• Served as an English Language Arts Department Chair for the K-12 Curriculum Committee, facilitated as the District Calendar Chairperson, led the Cherryland Middle School Leadership Team, and participated in the Regional Literacy Committee. Elected as the Co-President of the Elk Rapids Education Association.
• Awarded the 2024 Outstanding Person in Education by the Michigan Education Association.
• Awarded the 2023 Outstanding Educator of the Region by the Northwest Education Services, Traverse City Connect, and Traverse Bay Area Credit Union.

• Taught 4th and 5th-grade math.
• Served as a Math Department Chair for the K-12 Curriculum Committee
• Represented the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and served as a presenter for the Regional Staff Development Day conference. Received highly effective evaluations every year.
