Curriculum Development
Over the last 16 years, I have consistently earned an excellent rating by my evaluators. I manage, teach, and develop the art curriculum for two elementary buildings, containing over 5oo students. I am currently seated on the Special Functions Committee assisting in the planning and implementation of schoolwide . events for students and staff. For the past 16 years I have sponsored and organized several clubs and activities for students. I am in charge of the Yearbook, Talent Show, Environmental Art Club, Makerspace, Newspaper Club, Drama Club Scenery, Art Club, Digital Photography Club, Tennis Club, Book Creator, and Table Tennis. I also support and develop cross curricular lessons that are incorporated throughout the year at all grade levels.
My hobbies and interests include physical fitness and reading. It is important to me to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy running for leisure as well as creating and achieving training goals for 10K, Half and Full Marathons. I enjoy playing tennis with my family and driving myself to develop my skill level. Reading keeps me connected to what is going on in the world and pop culture. I appreciate a good read recommendation so that I can converse with fellow readers. Some of the clubs and activities I sponsor give me th opportunity to share these interests with my students. This gives them the opportunity to try something that they might not have been exposed to otherwise.
