Assistant meat cutter in a family owned butcher shop.

• Started as a novice, and was able to significantly improve my ability to efficiently cut a wide range of beef, pork, and chicken cuts in just a couple of months through the training of my coworker.
• Familiarized in breaking down whole beefs, pigs, and deer from the whole carcass into the sub primal cuts of meat.
• As part of my responsibilities, I gained experience in taking inventory of the shop's consumable supplies and the main primal cut supply amounts. This involved carefully tracking and documenting the available inventory to ensure the shop could meet customer demand and maintain optimal stock levels for the next week.
• Capable of working on my own and following customer requests and explaining to customers how certain cuts are prepared when necessary.
• Cut meats to customer specifications and answered questions about specialty products.

From June of 2020 to August 2022 I resigned from my previous employment because of a family emergency. During this time I took small jobs such as roofing, framing, and deck work on a neighbors new house.

In the Fall of 2022 I resumed my training to become a welder.

Acted as an inhome caretaker for an elderly homebound gentleman. I provided care from 8am-4pm during school hours while his wife was away at work.

• Required to be CPR and first aid certified to fill this position.
• Offered conversation and social interaction about his hobbies and interests to keep him entertained throughout the day.
• Regularly communicated with the gentleman's wife to provide updates on his well-being and any changes in his condition.
• Monitored client vital signs, administered medications, and tracked behaviors to keep healthcare supervisor well-informed.
