  • Create and update SQL Queries (Campus Solution Query Manager 9.0) using in both SSO test and actual environment, succeeded in retrieving student information based on term, course catalog, subject. Created MicroStrategy dossier visualisation tables reflecting the time trend of students enrolled in a particular course.
  • Team developed a comprehensive 'Suite of Reports' using MicroStrategy BI (Similar to Power BI) with corrected dataset to enhance self-service access post-university's shift to centralised analytics, aiding senior leadership's strategic decisions, succeeded in improving academic understanding.
  • Aligned with university goals, created 32 easy-to-use interactive dashboards (Bar charts, Map charts, Dynamic time charts) to Faculty of Science, break down by critical student functions: Applications, Enrolment, Retention, Compliance, Pass Rates, and Qualifications.
  • Collaborated closely with Faculty of Science Academic Services and senior leaders, ensuring tailored dashboards met stakeholders' needs.
  • Conducted group meetings fortnightly for feedback, refining dashboards iteratively based on usability and presentation, keep aligning with stakeholders' changing requirements.
  • Using R to distinguish the discrepancies for student enrollment information (in Excel) between SMR (data visualisation system) and SSO (operational system) datasets break down by term, subject and course catalogue (over 523,000 records), finding out the differences for each of the data source and aggregated all causes in a final report. Succeeded in improving data consistency/integrity for different systems within the university.
