While serving in the United states Marine Corps i started as a correctional officer. During the first 2 years i was directly in charge of 80-120 inmates at the NAVCON Brig within the Naval base Miramar, San Diego. This entailed day to day operations, rehabilitation, meals, and accountability 5 times per day. I was then deployed overseas to Okinawa, Japan. During this deployment i was directly in charge of 30 Marines, and the receiving and release of over ten thousand inmates as the Duty Brig Officer. in November of 2016 i was deployed with a small group of Marines to apprehend and detain a United States DOD member for 6 months. we oversaw day to day duties of the trial, detainment, and relations with the Filipino government. i Received an Honorable discharge from the USMC.
