-Implemented plan of care established by the Physical Therapists after patients were discharged home from the hospital or rehabilitation setting.

-Educated patients on home safety, balance training, gait training, and strengthening to assist patients in reaching their maximum functional independence.

-Implemented Physical Therapists plan of care for patients after surgery to help them achieve functional independence and return home; as well as working with residents to improve functional independence to better allow them to access facility.

Provided one on one interventions with children diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Autism, and associated disorders that accompany these diagnoses.

-For the last 3 years was a Clinical Instructor to physical therapy assistant students during their final semester in school.

-Employed by Select Medical to work in the skilled nursing home as a contract employee.

-Implemented the Physical Therapist’s plan of care on patients that were either at the nursing home for a short time for rehabilitation following surgery or on residents of the facility.

-Utilized modalities to aid in the functional progress towards goals set by Physical Therapist as needed.
