Successfully converted reinsurance treaty data from a purchased company for Hartford Reinsurance. Modified a legacy in-house app using HartRe C++ framework and STL data structures. Worked with business analysts and database administrators to iterate to a final, balanced solution. Overall treaty balances were within 1.8% of required total of $161M; two previous in-house attempts failed to produce a satisfactory result.
Lead developer of the first B2B system to exchange ACORD XML data between The Hartford P&C and brokers via the Web. The system went into production in Sep-2000; the last remnants of the original code base were retired in 2005.
