For the past 8 years, I have assumed the responsibilities of the EKG Lead. This entails annual reviews and training for all EKG Techs. Training RNs and EMTs on proper lead placement and machine function, operations. Prepares schedules for physicians and EKG personnel. Report abnormalities in rhythms to appropriate personnel. In charge of ordering supplies for the department. Auditing EKG's for incomplete, inconsistent, and incorrect patient information. Notify physicians of pending EKG's to be read, and inclusive to all EKG duties as stated above. Processing and data input in the Muse and Cerner systems.
