Student Leadership Development

• Design, coordinate, and execute annual outdoor experiential learning retreats that host student leaders to produce experiences encouraging transactional and transformational leadership development, transferable to professional settings and organizational management. Responsibilities include:
• Securing food, shelter, and transportation of 35 adults.
• Development of outdoor activities designed to highlight leadership skills such as small watercraft recreation, hiking, and mountain biking.
• Implementation of backcountry safety protocol and risk management, training, and onboarding of full-time staff for on-site support.
• Integration of specific leadership curriculum leveraging staff expertise and external leadership consultants.
• Oversight and navigation of leadership development initiatives pursued throughout the academic year including professional skills labs, monthly leadership workshops, specific development curriculum for differing student leadership positions, and continued research and education for the enhancement of the department.
• Influence positive change of student leadership data trends from experiencing 18% turnover and 3% retention of student leaders to 3% turnover and 88% retention in a three-year timeline.

Student Clubs & Organizations

• Coach and mentor the student leaders hired to assist in the management of student organizations as they design training, engage in professional communication, oversee fiscal management, and mediate conflict through creative problem-solving.
• Steward and allocate University funds of $120k appropriately to consider the long-term success and growth trajectory of clubs that engage with students' opportunity to grow in financial awareness and conservatively honor resources.
• Consistently assess, develop, and refine processes and procedures that support student organizations and allow autonomy and interdependence among the diversity of each club.
• Systematized financial management to reduce budget margins from 23% to 5% with a total reduction of annual spending of $23k.

Intramural & Recreational Sports

• Coach and mentor, the student leaders selected to creatively produce and execute the Intramural Sports programs including IM League digital platform, league marketing, team management, referee scheduling, equipment and inventory operations, and safety protocols.
• Steward University funding of $20k conservatively to achieve the programming mission and continue a forward growth trajectory.

Assessment & Research

• Act as the primary expert and resource on assessment and research practices applied to CA&L initiatives.
• Responsible for holding department team members to continuously pursue transformational and transactional growth and refinement.
• Conceptualized, collaborated, and executed a survey designed to assess 1500 students and their experiences related to the 8 Student Life departments to collect valuable data that will drive decision-making for the overall enhancement of student experience at CCU.

Marketing & Branding

• Direct the vision for all CA&L marketing and branding, implementing processes and procedures for staff and students to follow to produce consistent expectations associated with programming representative of CA&L to the student body.
• Manage the execution, communication, content, and expectations of 8 different marketing channels available for all CCU undergraduate departments to leverage.

• Provide leadership development for high school students on a backcountry backpacking trip in partnership with the CCU Outdoor Leadership Boundless program.
• Developed leadership content complementing the outdoor activities including white water rafting, rock climbing, and hiking associated with backpacking.
• Provided logistical support such as driving, equipment management, technical climbing skills, financial management, and safety/risk assessment.

Financial Management

• Organize and execute administrative procedures associated with the processing of Campus Activities and Leadership department funding including invoicing, credit card reconciliation, and financial tracking.

Large Initiative Support

• Fulfill secondary support on large department initiative where responsibilities include department communications, revision of written resources, management of necessary finances, equipment and inventory operations, and project management development and accountability.

Student Employee Management

• Management and professional development of 25 student employees hired to assist in the administrative tasks and event preparations of CA&L, refining competencies in a variety of digital platforms, communication and customer care; collectively providing 126 hours of administrative work search week.

Tenant & Owner Ledgers

• Navigated and adjusted tenant and owner ledgers to accurately reflect the financial credits and debits associated with over 1500 rental properties.
• Responsible for the monthly intake of all rental payments including the reflection of funds on tenant and owner accounts, bank and digital systems reconciliation, and appropriate management and deposit of monies.

Utility Accounts

• Organized and reconciled utility accounts associated with over 1500 rental properties, ensuring timely financial management, coordinated account and property status, communicated with a variety of Colorado utility companies, and efficient problem solving on behalf of tenants and owners.

Client Care

• Engaged in professionally and prioritized customer care for both tenants and property owners, curating specific collaboration and support for each opportunity presented.
