• Followed safety precautions to avoid personal injury and provide safe work environment.
• Removed outdoor debris and yard clippings into receptacles to properly maintain grounds.

While I was stationed Camp Pendleton, CA at 1st Combat Engineer Battalion I was deployed the US southern border. There we supported the US Border Patrol in securing the border from the migrant caravans from South America. The next year I was deployed to Iraq with 2nd Battalion 7th Marines. While there we were sent as QRF to secure the American Embassy in Baghdad after they had been attacked by protesters trying to jump the walls while taking indirect fire from rockets and mortars. After returning home for a few brief months I traveled to Camp Hansen, Okinawa Japan to 9th Engineer Support Battalion. My Job there was Assistant Squad Leader, I did my best to teach everything I had learned to my Marines to set them up for success in the future.

• Handled aviation fuel and chemicals with correct procedures and quality control standards.

• Kept equipment clean and functional with regular inspections and upkeep.
