Spearheaded the launch of a new tooling department from a one man operation, to hiring and leading a team of 14 individual toolmakers/toolsetters in a fast paced Tier 1 automotive supplier facility

• Restructured and expanded the company from outsourcing into an solely in-house tooling and fabrication facility which is projected to save the company over $500,000 annually
• Established and maintained 6s standards throughout entire department
• Established and maintained PM program for entire plant which consists of level 1,2,3 PM’s. To include injection molding, end of arm tooling, compression molding, water jet fixtures, end of line testers
• Daily duties in addition to management of team: purchasing, scheduling, fabrication, communication with suppliers, and collaboration with maintenance department

• Installer of industrial ovens and oversee projects for large corporations throughout the United States
• Commercial HVAC servicer which include inspections, testing, troubleshooting and calibrating of commercial systems
• Combustion Engineering conducting safety surveys, system upgrades, rebuilds and full commissioning of new ovens and gas valve train systems, including full electrical panel wiring

• Lead the entire Molded Products Division at Unique Fabricating South
• Provided leadership, vision and direction, developed and maintained multiple complex and high priority contracts amongst company and business partners, as well as vendors and suppliers
• Continuous Improvement saving approximately $120,000 per year by researching and implementing material and tool design layouts as cost-saving initiatives and creating fresh new approaches to long-standing problems
• Managed day to day production and operation of Tier 1 supplier facility
• Oversaw all new equipment installation and purchasing of new equipment
• Organized information by studying, analyzing, interpreting and classifying data
• Maintained and upheld 6s Standards of organization and cleanliness for Tier One suppliers to be consistently ready for audit at any time either internally or by customers
• Managed weekly Molded Projects meeting with corporate project management team on new program launches
• Responsible for training all thermoforming operators to run, set up, do quick efficient tool change overs and troubleshoot problems on the fly, through the process
• Worked closely with shipping and receiving on not having miss shipments or damaged received materials
• Traveled to other plants in/outside of the US for troubleshooting, maintenance, set up and training of employees.
