Experienced, energetic educator seeking a position in mathematics.
I graduated in 1999 with a Physics degree and taught Physics in a college for three years. When I moved to U.S. in 2002, I earned my mathematics teaching certificate and started to teach mathematics in different states .I believe that throughout an undergraduate degree the goal is to understand mathematics or physics, while the graduate degree programs provide the transition from learning mathematics or physics to creating the content. I had really enjoyed studying mathematics while teaching and I wanted to take it further. ASU allowed me to take courses without being admitted to a graduate degree program as a graduate in non-degree status. However, being a parent and attending school at the same time was very challenging. I decided to pursue a graduate degree at Northern Arizona University. I took a break from teaching mathematics in Fall 2015 and started to take classes.
With over 15 years of successful teaching experience, I am confident in my ability and passion to become a positive addition to your community. As you will see in my resume I have earned a Bachelor’s degree and gained a certification in different states and taught different levels of mathematics and earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics with distinction. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learners offering individualized support and integrating effective materials. I am a hardworking individual and have a strong desire to provide the highest quality of education possible.
Sincerely,
