- Lived on a reserve in the Atlantic Rainforest in São Paulo, Brazil researching Cordycepts, Bird habitat, and Bird diet with PhD students and managing the area.
- For my research on cordycepts I would identify species of host and fungi, then DNA sequence them. I worked in ArcGIS Pro to create a map that was then presented at the Internation Mycological Congress.
- For my research with Bird Diet I collected samples of bird droppings in specific areas of the rainforest to then identify and document the seed species they were eatting.
- For my research with Bird habitiat I documented as many species as I could so the reserve could keep an accurate inventory.
- As an EcoVolunter I would reforest the area, remove or control any invasive species of plant, and maintain the reserve facilities.
