Samantha D'Ambrosio

As an English tutor for the USC Upward Bound program, I work with high school students helping them out with homework and other questions pertaining to English. More than that, it is my responsibility to look after these kids to help promote a better future for them since most of these kids come from low-income, minority backgrounds.

I am in charge of the social media accounts for Uma, posting relevant articles, exciting events, team accomplishments, and inspiring female empowerment content. I also write articles for publication on the Uma website to encourage customers to be their best self, and I write the newsletter to go out every month. Additionally, I contribute to centralized ideas and themes of the company, meeting with the founder and CEO Rita Kakati-Shah on a weekly basis.

I worked as an embedded tutor in two English 101 classrooms acting as a model student asking questions to the professor, taking notes, and helping students one on one with their coursework. I also worked in the Writer's Block open to students who need help writing essays, completing assignments, applications, and more.

I was a Twitch affiliated gamer creating live stream content engaging with viewers and the game itself. I would promote the game, myself as a content producer, and collaborate with other streamers to create a bigger platform. One of my duties was to communicate what I was doing in the game, tips and tricks, and communicating with viewers to encourage them to continue watching and supporting me as a creator.

My job was to build a social media platform for the club to gain followers and visibility in the USC community. I would create engaging content created for followers to interact with on a more personal level. I managed the Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

I worked as a writer for GSN, coming up with about 3 articles a week to be published. I would meet with the team and pitch ideas for upcoming posts for myself and other writers. I soon became a highly important and dependable worker for the company getting my name on the board of directors before I left to start my college endevours.

I self promoted dog walking and babysitting services to my community and worked many jobs helping people out with their dog and child needs. My responsibilities for dog walking was to make sure the dog was tired/satisfied with the walk, pick up after their waste, and feed the dog/take care if needed. Babysitting wasn't much different in terms of responsibility. I would watch the kids, engage in fun activities with them, feed them, and make sure all was okay while we waiting for their parents to come back.

Personally assisting the CEO and founder of CBD Integrity, my responsibilities included packaging product, preparing product to ship, recording inventory, income, and sales, creating labels, and sending emails. Used Excel spreadsheets to record inventory data.
