Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a processing unit. Performs operating and operations basic maintenance tasks while also overseeing and leading all other operations and maintenance activities concerning the outside operations of the unit.

Performs operator and basic maintenance skills on a process unit and is the second level of unit knowledge that can also act a "Chief Qualified" operator in the absence of the shift's Chief Operator.

Operating and maintaining of equipment used in the removal of Petroleum Coke from large vessels used in the coking process of the unit.
