Developed housing program for mentally ill , fundraising and community resource developer,

I solicited the community for various resources and funds to assist our clients in successful, long term, independent living in the community, I developed relationships with landlords, Department of Corrections, Transportation resources including bus system, individual drivers, volunteers, I worked as a liaison with DOC to successfully transition inmates back into the community, I developed relationships with various local business owners to acquire furniture, funds, equipment and other program needs, I developed, implemented and led groups in surrounding mental health centers to teach independent living skills and mental health management, I linked clients with other resources and secured them income through jobs and other sources. I maintained relationships with donors, business owners, landlords, utility companies, DOC, local managers, and provided quick and effective crisis intervention helping to stabilize our clients in the community with fewer hospitalizations and crisis events. I mediated between agencies both local and government to manage allocation of funds and to assist in creating any resources not already being provided to meet our clients needs. I advocated and spoke publicly to bring awareness to the plight of the homeless mentally ill, and implemented various outreach services to help make services more available to rural communities, or people with limited to no transportation. I pulled people out from under park benches, was active in the community, visiting tent cities and making services available to people who were overlooked in the community, undiagnosed, untreated, or unable to access services previously. I implemented programs of peers helping peers with living independently, learning the transportation system, and combating loneliness to manage depression and/or crisis events. I mediated between law enforcement and clients, hospitals, jobs, and landlords to help keep our clients stable once they were established in the community.
