For the last 8 years I have worked as an independent producer. Projects have included TV spots, training videos, and sales & corporate presentations. Typically I write, shoot, edit and finish the projects that I produce.
I managed a creative services production department with (up to) 4 producers. I handled scheduling of equipment and people, worked closely with the sales staff and management, and also completed my own productions.
I communicated with the company's many branches and accessed their needs for print materials such as tri-fold brochures, print advertisements and logo/brand adherence. I also created the needed documents and had them sent to printers or to the publication in which they would appear. On occasion I also produced company HR and training videos.
I ran a video production department with several employees. We produced video content for the furniture chain's stores. The content was, at the time, distributed on VHS tape. As well as managing the department, I also wrote and produced sales training and human resources projects.
I was a studio camera & teleprompter operator and often worked as weekend floor director.
