Summary

I am currently a retired teacher who taught in an elementary classroom for over twenty five ears. I am currently a licensed teacher in Colorado I have worked in conjunction with other fell0w teachers to improve learning outcomes for all students through the implementation of research based techniques and programs. Since retirement from full time teaching in 2015, I have used past trainings and knowledge of reading as a science to serve students in a reading intervention role. Math intervention became an interest in the past year during which I worked with third and fifth grade students with math skill needs in a small group setting in addition to providing intervention to K`5 grade students.

  • Along with Yoshimoto Orton Gillingham and Lindamoode Bell training, I used a reading intervention program (SPIRE) to bring 16% of student served to meet Annual Yearly Progress or expected subject growth.
