Flight Chief of Aerospace Medicine

Manager for Case Management Cell for 2,300 reserve airmen, spanning 40 different specialties. Medical specialties to include facilities, human resources, dental, mental health, optometry, outpatient care, laboratory, drug testing, immunizations, logistics, administrative and executive support for over 130 medical Airmen.

  • Manage and direct quality and compliance to include program evaluation, clinical risk management, standards compliance, survey readiness and utilization review. Serve as liaison between members and Air Force Reserve Command Surgeon General (AFRC/SG) for Medical Evaluation Boards.
  • Provided daily administrative leadership; implemented facility policies; interpreted policy guidelines and monitored the effectiveness of these policies to ensure compliance with respective Air Force Manual Instructions and Department of Defense Instruction Policies.
  • Assign and track training for MHS Genesis(Cerner) for 349 Medical Group members. Coordinate with Air Force Headquarters, Defense Health Agency and Active-Duty medical systems to assign roles and provision accounts for MHS Genesis.
  • Provide training and support to Reserve Medical Units across the Air Force Reserve Command on the Immunization care and support in MHSG
