Mosaic Tile currently has11 locations and one Customer Service Department which is subdivided as follows: Commercial Orders, Commercial Quotes, Residential, and Samples which includes Commercial & Residential Samples
Two person teams for each
While I have in the past worked with each individual group, I now primarily work with Samples, taking care of Commercial Submittal Packages for clients as well as Builders New Construction or Remodelers
Communication to clients and our Reps on any backorders, leadtime/production issues, discontinued lines
If samples are not available in the US, we do import usually from Italy or Spain
I also work back up in the Purchasing Department handling Shipping Confirmations when someone is on vacation
We also handle orders for Marketing Materials consisting of the Architectural Folders, Contractor Boards, Tear Sheets and Catalogs
Also work as phone back up for our North Carolina and Southern Virginia locations during power failure at the branches or inclement weather, phones for remote employees are “voice over IP” and have the ability to be rolled over to individual extensions when needed
We must work closely with our A&D Reps for all to run smoothly

Asked if I would be interested in running the Greensboro Branch and I very much wanted to do this
They were very under-staffed when I transferred
We did a bundle of interviewing and finally started filling the openings we had which helped de-stress all
Took care of the Maintenance on the Building which was sometimes just calling our landlord or finding contractors that could fix our fire door between the office and warehouse, Went over the P&L’s each month making sure our location absorbing only the expenses that belonged to Greensboro, Forklift Maintenance Contract, Cash Drawer each day, Delivery Schedules, Back up Counter, Back up Designer, Back up Forklift Driver

American Olean hired me to train for Counter Sales, did not at that point have any experience with title but I did enjoy learning
