After getting my first puppy, Happy GG, when I was 6 years old, and raising her, I knew I was meant to be a protector and provider for animals. I have been dedicated to that cause ever since.
I am applying for the the position of kennel technician as I am eager to use the years of my acquired skills and learn kennel operations.
I am dedicated to providing loving care and to make sure each animal has a clean, safe environment until they find their forever home.
My first job as a pet sitter began when I was in the sixth grade and I wanted to earn some money so, with some help, Lots of Love Dog Sitting was my job for the next 3 years. I was solely responsible the care of the dogs which included, cleaning their space, following feeding instructions, following any medical instructions, exercising, daily grooming, and monitoring their behavior with each other and other dogs on the trail.
After this I concentrated on training my own 2 dogs to be companions.
My strength lies in my ability to bond with various breeds and anticipate a certain response to things that might trigger an unwanted behavior or fright. I have several years experience in working with a reactive dog.
My goal is maintaining a clean and safe environment and giving loving care to the animals.
I look forward to continuing to learn and working with the staff members. I have been told I have a sunny personality and l wish to be an asset to Juneau Animal Rescue.
