As a recent Registered Occupational Therapist and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 14 years, I am dedicated to the occupational therapy profession with experience in skilled nursing, school-based, outpatient orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation, and acute/inpatient care settings. Focused on a client-centered approach to care, I bring a collaborative approach to treatment planning, including the client's values, beliefs, and culture through autonomy, veracity, fidelity, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice.

Licking Memorial Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation: Summer Level II Fieldwork June 2024 - September 2024

• Managed full caseload of 20 patients weekly
• Completed initial evaluations, scheduling of patients, implementing client-centered interventions supported by evidence-based practice, and utilized clinical reasoning to determine continuing of care or discharge.

Fairfield Medical Center, River Valley Campus Outpatient Rehabilitation: Spring Level II Fieldwork May 2024 - June 2024

• Managed full caseload of 50-60 patients weekly.
• Completed initial evaluations, scheduling of patients, implementing client-centered interventions supported by evidence-based practice, and utilized clinical reasoning to determine continuing of care or discharge.  
• Additional experience in lymphatic massage/wrapping, scar mobilization, and PAMs.

Level I Fieldwork with Elders (Telehealth) January 2024 - March 2024

Virtually facilitated an initial evaluation with an elderly client, developed a plan of care, completed a virtual home assessment, implemented client-centered interventions, and completed a discharge.

Level I Fieldwork Adult Physical Dysfunction September 2023 - December 2023

Facilitated various occupation-based assessments, initial evaluations, client-centered goals, intervention plans, discharge documentation, and simulated acute care patient scenerios in lab for adult clients with physical disabilities through a simulated patient platform via Simuase program.

Level I Fieldwork Pediatrics June 2023 - August 2023

Facilitated and developed client-centered and occupation-based interventions for clients with various diagnoses at Breaking Free Therapuetic Riding Center Inc., as well as simulated pediatric assessments to scenario clients via the Simucase platform.

Level I Fieldwork Mental Health March 2024 - May 2024

Developed and implemented occupation-based interventions to pediatric groups at Avondale Youth Center, focusing on health promotion, mindfulness, and overall well-being through implentation of a sensory profile and occupational profile.
