Serve as Captain for Delta Air Lines flying the Boeing 727, MD 88, Boeing 737, Boeing 767-ER, Boeing 767-400ER acquiring to date 12,916 hours Pilot in Command time

As a Line Check Airman for Delta Air Lines on the Boeing 767 and Boeing 767-ER, duties and responsibilities included initial flight instruction in the aircraft for new Captains and new First Officers coming to the aircraft. Training included all systems and physical attributes of the 2 aircraft as well as instruction of the nuances of international flying operations. Duties also included check rides after training as well being assigned crews to meet to administer biannual check rides.

Served as a Aircrew Program Designee and Simulator Flight Instructor administering flight instruction on the MD-11 and check rides to fleet pilots new to the aircraft and those coming in for annual training. Was also one of the first Aircrew Program Designee(APD) First Officer certified by the FAA at Delta Air Lines. This was normally a position held by Captains. As an APD my duties were to give FAA Oral exams and FAA rating rides in the simulator.

Was also responsible for writing the entire training syllabus for initial instruction and check and rating rides on the MD-11

Served as First Officer Pilot for Delta Air Lines piloting the MD-88, Boeing 727, MD-11 acquiring 3,355 hours of flight time.

Served as a Proficiency Check Airman First Officer and Simulator Flight Instructor for Delta Air Lines whose duties included flight instruction on the MD-88 aircraft and also administer check rides for fleet pilots coming in for annual training. Was one of the first First Officers at Delta Air Lines to be designated a Proficiency Check Airman.

As a new pilot for Delta Air Lines, performed duties as Flight Engineer on the Boeing 727 acquiring 602 hours of Flight Engineer time

Served as an instructor pilot for the US Navy in squadron VS-27 which trained S-3 Viking pilots to prepare for entry into the fleet.

Collateral duties while assigned to VS-27 were as Corrosion Control Officer. As Corrosion Control Officer, squadron received a grade of Outstanding for its Corrosion Control Program.

Served aboard the USS John F Kennedy assigned as a pilot to VS-22 piloting the S-3 Viking, based out of NAS Cecil Field.

My Collateral jobs while assigned to my squadron were, Officer in charge of the electrical branch, Schedules Officer creating daily flight schedules for over 35 pilots and crew, and Admin Officer wo directly with over 200 squadron personnel relating to military administrative issues.
