Corporate chaplaincy is an extremely unique ministry. Corporate chaplains live out their calling to share the gospel and care for the spiritual needs of employees in the workplace. Corporate Chaplains of America was founded in 1996. It's unambiguous mission: "To build caring relationships with the hope of gaining permission to share the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner." We are currently reporting over 50,000 salvations since inception! My work experience with Corporate Chaplains of America includes:

• Making weekly rounds at prominent companies in Louisville and southern Indiana to touch base with each employee, praying for ministry or witnessing opportunities
• Developing thousands of authentic, caring relationships with employees, CEO's and business owners
• Making hundreds of gospel presentations to employees and leading many to faith in Christ
• Caring for, counseling with, and praying with thousands of individuals dealing with real-life problems such as financial crisis, marital difficulty, parenting issues, job-related stress, suicidal ideation, sickness and health issues, etc.
• Making hospital visits for sick employees and their families as needed
• Conducting funerals for employees and their families as needed
• Standing by on-call 24/7 for all employees and their families
• Responding to emergencies as needed
• Tracking mileage and recording my work hours for monthly submission via via online portal

Hardisnburg Christian Church was established in 1903, and has fluctuated in size down through the decades as the community shrank due to lack of industry in such small towns. Currently, there are only about 25 active members, which makes this pastoral position part-time, allowing me to serve here while simultaneously working full-time as a Corporate Chaplain. My work experience with Hardinsburg Christian Church includes:

• Planning and leading weekly worship services
• Preparing and preaching weekly expository sermons
• Visiting, counseling and praying with church members to provide pastoral care
• Reaching out to the community and to inactive church members via phone calls, cards and large public events
• Initiating broadcast services for the homebound during the 2020 COVID pandemic
• Improving the facilities and functions of the church by clarifying objectives and empowering others to take responsibility
• Conducting special services like baptisms, ordinations, weddings and funerals

Blue River Baptist Church was established in 1845, and has enjoyed a long and fruitful ministry in Salem, Indiana. The church was constituted as an American Baptist Church but later came to be dually aligned with the SBC. It has employed many students from Southern Seminary down through the decades, including such names as renowned author and theologian R. T. Kendall. Like all rural churches, it has fluctuated in size over the decades due to declining industry and remote location. It has averaged between 50 and 70 members ever since the mid-90's, including the years in which I served. My work experience with Blue River Baptist Church includes:

• Planning and leading weekly worship services including Scripture readings, hymn selections and order of worship
• Preparing and preaching weekly expository sermons
• Visiting, counseling and praying with church members to provide pastoral care
• Planning, organizing, advertising for, and facilitating large outreach events like fall festivals and revivals
• Planning, organizing, advertising for, and facilitating yearly VBS programs
• Writing, printing and folding weekly bulletins
• Recruiting and training new leadership for various positions within the church
• Conducting quarterly and special business meetings
• Recruiting for and presiding over all committees
• Improving the facilities by facilitating the expansion of the fellowship hall
• Casting the vision and establishing the mission of the church by clarifying objectives and empowering others to take responsibility
