Over the past few months, I’ve taken on the role of a caretaker, which allowed me time to focus on personal and professional growth. During this period, I immersed myself in learning new skills through the LinkedIn eLearning platform, where I obtained my professional Microsoft certification. This certification has equipped me with the technical proficiency needed to excel in a technical support role, including expertise in the essential tools and software commonly used in a business environment.
In addition to mastering Microsoft Office Suite, I completed over 20 hours of Human Resources training, earning several certifications. While my ultimate goal is to transition into Human Resources, I recognize the value of starting in a technical support role to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving—skills that will be invaluable in both technical support and HR.
Though I am new to the technical support field, I bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and an eagerness to learn. My recent experiences have sharpened my ability to resolve issues under pressure, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and provide excellent customer service. I am confident that these skills, coupled with my training in software and technical systems, will allow me to contribute effectively in a technical support capacity.
My time as a caretaker has also enhanced my interpersonal skills, teaching me patience, empathy, and clear communication—traits that are crucial when assisting individuals with their technical needs. I see technical support as a strong foundation from which I can continue to grow, with the aim of eventually moving into a Human Resources role where I can apply my HR knowledge to support both technology and people within an organization.
If you're looking for a dedicated individual with the technical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a clear goal of advancing into Human Resources, I would love the opportunity to contribute to your team in a technical support role. I am eager to learn, grow, and bring value to your organization.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy reading, writing, and dancing, which help me stay creative and energized. I also prioritize spending quality time with my loved ones, as they are a vital source of support and inspiration. Additionally, I volunteer my time transcribing documents for the Library of Congress, a role that allows me to contribute to the preservation of important historical records while giving back to the community. Balancing these aspects of my life keeps me well-rounded and grounded, both personally and professionally.
