26 years experience including 10 years of hospital inpatient care and 16 years in the sub acute rehab setting. I've treated a high percentage of geriatric patient with a wide range of conditions including orthopedic, neurologic , surgical, and medical . As a NJ licensed Physical Therapist, I am able to evaluate and interpret results and develop an individual plan of care with short and long term goals to maximize the patients functional mobility. I have experience with teaching patients to use wheelchairs, braces, assistive devices and prosthetic devices. Education of the patient and or family member on proper posture, safe use of the adaptive and assistive equipment and proper body mechanics to promote overall health and wellness is extremely important to me.
