Assisted in lesson planning, activity coordination, and making presentations in order to teach organ based Anatomy to 3rd graders at a local elementary school.

Developed and discussed ideas on how to contribute to our Medicus Colloquium sessions with an emphasis on making lessons that are engaging and build on the ethical principles necessary for future physicians.

Partnered with healthcare providers to address the medical needs of residents of homeless escapements within the Greater Sacramento community. Involved with providing medical help, social work, supplies, and resources to residents in an attempt to address a larger disparity that exists in regards to lack of healthcare available to the homeless populations.

• Utilization of EPIC's EMR program to room patients, gather vital signs, perform pulmonary and respiratory tests, gather medical histories, e-prescribe medications, look at patient encounters to effectively handle and distribute patient questions/concerns, and work directly with the physicians and other nursing staff to streamline allergy testing, shots, and other avenues of care

• Handled payment processing, insurance benefits, and provided customers with receipts and proper bills
• Welcomed patients to front desk and engaged in friendly conversations while conducting check-in process
• Scheduled and coordinated new patient and recurring patient appointments
• Used online EMR chirotouch software to handle patient transactions, records, and ledgers

• Vaccine clinic lead: Developed a protocol for and led our vaccine clinic in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and boosters to members of the underserved population in the greater Sacramento area
• Monitor: In charge of running and scheduling primary clinic shifts and the maintaining communication between the preceptors, medical students, and undergraduate volunteers

• Met with and collaborated with graduate and professional students regarding current research ideas and projects and ensured research and data collection methods were reliable and valid

• Executed qualitative and quantitative analysis on a wide range of data
• Applied good documentation practices when recording data and managing source documentation
• Kept organized records, maintained inventory equipment and materials to facilitate the data collection process
