Denise Foti

The Dean of the MSN Program serves dual roles as MSN Dean and Chief Nurse Administrator (CNA) for the MSN and BSN programs on the Virginia Beach Campus. This position is supervisory over the BSN program. The MSN Dean/CNA is responsible for the overall development, management, supervision, and evaluation of the BSN and
MSN programs – including all concentrations, faculty, and students. This position is responsible for meeting the program's mission, goals, end-of-program student learning outcomes, and program outcomes. The Dean/CNA consults with the university administration, faculty, and communities of interest. The Dean delegates the day-to-day leadership for the pre-licensure program to the BSN Director.

Assisted the MSN Program Dean with various responsibilities.

• Coordinated day-to-day operations serving as program lead person to assist with scheduling and training staff.
• Adhered to licensing, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assisted Program Director in designing, monitoring, and revising curriculum.
• Supervised and completed program operations.

Taught didactic and clinical courses in the Associate Degree, RN-BSN, BSN, MSN, and DNP programs.
