During school, our clinical experience as a CNA and a phlebotomist allowed us to practice real-world skills in different healthcare settings. We rotated through labs, hospitals and nursing homes, where we learned how to care for patients, draw blood safely, and worked as part of a healthcare team. These hands on experiences help build confidence and understand the daily responsibilities of our roles. We are required to complete so many clinical hours while meeting specific skill based goals.
