Aarav Kumar

Current member and prospective team leader of the ARC robotics organization at Purdue. Our goal is to implement hive thinking into a group of robots. We use algorithms as well as machine learning to make sure the robots work as one unit.

President of the CS/programming club at our high school. I acted as the leader by hosting weekly meetings, setting up events such as hackathons, tutoring sessions, etc for our members. I also managed social media and our website.

I was a co-founder of this non-profit. Our goal was to provide younger students with coding lessons during the covid pandemic, when access to these resources was limited. We held weekly online coding boot camps, and over the course of a few months, we helped these students go from beginners to coding in scratch, to creating their own video-games in python.

I was a student researcher at NC State for the summer of 2022. I conducted research on False Memories under the mentorship of NC State professors.

I was the leader of the nextGenSTEM club of our high school. This organization hosted county wide tutoring sessions for middle-school students in fields such as science and math. We also hosted Science Olympiad boot camps for these students.
