About 6 years ago, I lost my grandmother to sepsis due to hospital negligence, which was a life-altering experience that deeply shaped my purpose. It left me feeling powerless, yet it also ignited a determination to ensure no patient or family feels the same sense of abandonment. This profound event became the driving force behind my commitment to nursing. I am passionate about being present at the bedside, where compassion, vigilance, and connection can truly make a difference. I strive to provide the level of care my grandmother was denied — care that is attentive, skilled, and rooted in empathy. Every patient entrusts us with their health and, often, their life. I am committed to honoring that trust by delivering the highest standard of care to each individual and their loved ones. I am a nursing student graduating with my BSN in 2026. After graduation, I plan to begin working at the bedside to provide hands-on care to patients and their families. I am passionate about learning and plan to pursue certifications and possibly an MSN to grow as a nurse and give my patients the best care possible. My goal is to be a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable nurse who makes a difference every day.
